When I take Mike to the airport early in the morning we normally stop at The Range Cafe and get breakfast. Once a year Albuquerque has a large balloon festival. It always happens that as I'm driving Mike down the festival is going on. I'm not sure what is up with his travel schedule, but it is nice for us. We can see all the balloons and no traffic.

When I used to commute to ABQ from Santa Fe to go to UNM, I used to get glimpses of the the balloons all the time. I really enjoyed it, except when the balloons landed on the highway and stopped traffic for a while.
