RV Remodel - Update.

We have been spending the weekend working on the RV. Trying to get as much done as possible for the race weekend (which is the second weekend in April). The colors are coming together. The shades are lovely and the new furniture is perfect. The floors make me smile - they need trim - but they are perfect.

Another RV Day.

Here is the first bit of thin-set that was put down for the tile. We first moved in all the furniture to make sure everything would fit - then we cleaned up everything. Got ready for tiling - and took off. This thin-set is some special blend that bends and can handle really hot and cold temperatures.


Here is what the kitchen area looks like - still the edges to do - but it is coming along.

RV coming along.

Well the RV furniture came. The boxes took up almost half the garage. We unboxed them and got the captains chairs into the RV. We also got the newly covered window treatments in as well. Next is day/night shades and tiling the floor. The thin-set is suppose to be in today so I'll be running to ABQ to get it.

RV Remodel - Update

Mike has worked it hard this past weekend. I've still been under the weather - but he has been pushing it through. The pulls are up - most of the wood flooring is down - and the walls are painted. I think he'll be working on tile this week.

RV Remodel - Painting.

It was pretty hard to get photos of the painted walls in the RV. We used a textured paint with granite and sparkles. We are waiting for it to dry to get the full color. We are 1/2 - 1 gallon short so we'll have to get more before I'd call it painted!

RV Remodel - Update

The remodeling is coming along. We have finished primering the inside and all of the flooring is out. Mike's mom finished reupholstering the valences this past weekend and will be working on pillows over the next couple of weeks. I can't believe how fantastic the shades look without the creepy skanky old fabric.

New Year.

You might be wondering what is happening this new year. Well it has already been busy. The RV remodel is moving along (slower than I would probably like) .. but moving along. We are currently painting the inside and waiting for things to dry.

I've just started my fourth week of yoga everyday. Yesterday was a lackluster practice ... but today was forward bends and twists. I'm trying to always stay positive about the practice (even if it isn't the longest or greatest of my life).

In my better-vs-well living I'm progressing in watching what is important. While at the hardware store I really wanted 4 new pots to replant some African violets I have. I picked all 4 up and then thought, "Do I need to re-pot them?" The answer is no. I really just wanted matching pots. This is an interesting experiment ... but I'm not sure how I'll feel after 4 weeks.

All in all ... 2010 has started off really well!
