Methow.

So for some of you - you have heard ... but for others this is news.

Methow has always had these little dots on her right eye. We've never worried to much about them (and neither have any of the vets that we have taken her to). A few weeks ago she started acting odd and the dots (which have been growing) started to move into the iris part of her eye. I took her to the vet, who said she had to go see an eye specialist. We took her to the specialist yesterday and it is melanoma. They did x-rays of her body and found that she doesn't have cancer anywhere else ... but the eye doctor said the eye has to come out. We are taking her in tomorrow morning (halloween) to have it removed. I'll post pictures after the surgery. Keep your fingers crossed for her. She is a fantastic kitty!
