We finally got a nice big snow storm. The lab was closed on Friday and it was a cloudy, stormy, glorious time! I of course couldn't sleep in during the snow day, but instead got up and worried about what to do about the Kevins. Snow had drifted into their coop and they appeared to be cold. I finally decided that putting down a nice layer of fresh dry bedding would be the best. This seemed to make them feel a lot better, although now we are talking about putting in a heat lamp that is temperature controlled.

beautiful!! Send some my way please.
Aw, your chickens have it good! My poor ducks egg's are frezzing and cracking open if I don't collect them quickly enough and all I gave them was some extra straw!
Lovely photos.
